Karan Costner attends The Lift in Indian Trail, NC. A contemporary worship experience with a welcoming atmosphere. She began with GOH in the capacity of Assistant Director, now serving as Director since May of 2016. She was saved when she was eight years old, but in her early thirties came to know the Lord more intimately and began to understand His presence and sacrifice. She is divorced with a grown son who is currently married and she has four grandchildren. She enjoys arts of all kinds, to include decorating, painting, writing, making jewelry, sewing, and photography. She has known since her mid-thirties that the Lord had burdened her heart for young women and single mothers, as she found herself in that same situation when she was twenty-five. The Lord gave her a testimony in her journey through bad relationships and decisions, but through it all proved to her that she was in His hand all along the way. She has held onto this vision for over twenty years, waiting for God to give her a place to enact what He revealed to her years before. Although she delayed the process here and there, she knows that God knew her path and would bring her to this ministry. She seeks to show single mothers ways to realize their own value, to walk in their uniqueness, and she wants to see them fall in love with their Savior, to accept His love and to see them become whole again.
